Course Title: Introduction to Business Continuity Management Methodology

Who Should Attend: This is an introductory course to Business Continuity Management. It takes participants (who are mainly Category 1 and 2 Responders) through the BCM Lifestyle in the context of UK resilience.

Aim: To explain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) duty as described in CCA Guidance "Emergency Preparedness".

Objectives: By the end of this event you will be able to:

Pre-requisites: Ideally, participants should have completed our Introduction to Civil Protection course as knowledge of the Civil Contingencies Act (2004) will be assumed.

Progression: Participants with a good understanding of the BCM lifecycle can attend the Developing and Embedding your BCM arrangements course. This looks more in-depth at the BCM lifecycle and focuses on how to sell BCM to stakeholders.
