Course Title:   Communicating with the Public: Warning and Informing

"As someone who doesn't work in emergency planning, I was concerned that the course might have too much emergency planning jargon. This was not the case at all and it was really helpful to have a communications expert leading the course.

Afterwards I attended my first Local Resilience Forum Warning and Informing sub group and found having a solid grounding was a huge benefit. I was able to contribute with confidence at the meeting and also suggest that the group approach its task accordning to the framework covered by the course."

Vanessa Setterington, Marketing and Communications Manager, North Somerset Council
