Course Title: CBRN2: Strategic Considerations to Enable Recovery
Who Should Attend: Those within LA´s, Regional and Central
Government offices with responsibility for providing strategic direction to
enable recovery, following a CBRN incident in the UK
Aim:To provide a wider understanding of the potential long
term effects that may be manifested by Chemical, Biological, Radiological
and Nuclear substances released as the direct result of deliberate acts and
the activity required to return to a viable level of normality
Objectives: By the end of this event you will be able to:

List the key considerations that will need to be addressed following a
CBRN incident.

List the possible effects of CBRN agents, by type, upon human health and
the environment

Consider the requirements and methods for the treatment of contaminated
surfaces and materials

Outline medium and longer term challenges associated with CBRN
contamination

List the roles responsibilities and duties of responders

Determine the range of options available for dealing with the longer term
consequences associated with CBRN incidents
