Course Title: Business Continuity Promotion

Who Should Attend: Local Authority staff and Responders from other organisation who are involved with promoting BC to businesses and voluntary organisations.

Aim: To give delegates an understanding of the duty placed on local authorities and other Responders for Business Continuity Promotion.

Objectives: By the end of this event you will be able to:

• Describe the key requirements of the BC promotion duty placed on local authorities.
• Outline the work already done by others to promote Business Continuity (BC) in their own local business and voluntary sector communities.
• Describe the next steps you are going to take to develop BC promotional activity in your local community.

Pre-Requisites: Knowledge of the CCA and the Business Continuity lifecycle is desirable
