Academic Qualifications: in Partnership with the University of Leeds
Our ground-breaking partnership with Leeds University Business School
(LUBS) offers a unique range of academic qualifications, with a strong
practical element, in civil protection, risk management, business
continuity, emergency planning and related subjects.
The programmes are delivered through a Work-Based Learning (WBL) framework
by LUBS’ WBL Unit. WBL is an exciting and established approach to
learning, firmly rooted in the workplace and designed to enhance continuing
professional development. The work-based learning approach to study
at Leeds has been developed over a number of years and has a national and
international reputation.
Programme fees are available upon application.
Acceptance onto accredited programmes will be confirmed in writing from the
Work-Based Learning Unit.
Applications from organisations who wish to transfer or substitute students
on accredited programmes will be considered subject to University
