Phase Two of EPC's Transformation

As we enter Phase 2 of the College’s transformation programme (referred to as ‘Yet Further Ahead’), I thought it worthwhile to explain the reasons for, and the facts supporting, this stage of our transformation.
We are currently in the process of tendering and negotiating for a new internal support contract. However, until this is complete we are unable to give you precise details, other than to provide the following assurances:
- EPC will remain in the civil protection training business supporting UK resilience.
- The means by which we deliver it may change, but the content and quality will remain constant and determined by national doctrine.
- Ownership, doctrine and policy direction of training will remain with the Civil Contingencies Secretariat.
- This is the next phase in a 10-year programme of transformation at the College that will deliver essential changes to its business model and logistic support in accordance with government policies.
