About the Emergency Planning College
The Emergency Planning College is the leading provider of training for
emergency preparedness, attracting delegates with responsibility for
preventing, planning for, responding to or recovering from a major
incident.
It is the only permanent national forum for representatives of local and
Central Government, the emergency services, the private sector and
volunteer groups to network and share good practice.
A feature of College events is high–quality speakers. Each year over 500
external practising experts give presentations on College events, from a
variety of organisations, a selection of which include:
-
The BBC
-
The Emergency Planning Society
-
The Health and Safety Executive
-
British Telecom
-
London Underground
-
The Emergency Services
-
Stadium Safety Officers
-
British Airways
-
The Environment Agency
By drawing from the experience of those in the field we are enable to
provide delegates with a unique insight into ‘what actually happened’.
The programmes we offer are continually assessed, ensuring delegates are
up–to–date with the latest initiatives and thinking in the field, which
they can then transfer to there own organisation.
