Course Title: Creating Emergency Plans
Who Should Attend: For those with an active role in developing civil protection frameworks and emergency plans.
Aim: To enable participants to write an emergency plan.
Objectives: By the end of this event you will be able to:
- recognise the need to embed planning in Integrated Emergency Management
- identify the processes involved in creating emergency plans
- evaluate types of plans and their appropriateness to different settings
- identify the key elements of an emergency plan
- establish and develop appropriate planning templates
- manage the process of producing an emergency plan
- develop relevant plan maintenance and review procedures.
