Course Title: Tactical Leadership in Emergency Management
Who Should Attend:The course is primarily designed for those working in organisations that do not have a bespoke internal system of tactical emergency management training. However, those that do have their own tactical command programmes may wish to send delegates to experience the multi-agency dimension.

Aim: To equip you with the knowledge and skills required to lead in the management of emergencies at the tactical level.
Objectives: By the end of this event you will be able to:
- Identify the advantages and disadvantages of various leadership styles.
- Identify the six functions of action-centred leadership.
- Use information to create a common recognised information picture.
- As part of a team, make effective tactical decisions in table-top exercises.
- Produce effective briefings.
- Explain the role of tactical command in the overall UK Concept of Operations.
